500 Ft. of Pipe - Dope Deal CD $17
Completely insane and maxed out heavy fuzz rock! Giving the bigger boys a run for their money this stands head to head with old Monster Magnet and classic Nebula/Fu Manchu. High energy, but with the ever so important heavy quotient in order. Hit it bra!

500 Foot of Pipe - Electrifying Church of the New Light: CD $17
Bring on the HEAVY! Originally issued in ’99 and limited to 300 copies we now have an official re-issue with outstanding artwork from the Malleus crew. This first album is as good as the all time classic “Dope Deal”. Totally essential heavy, heavy, heavy acid rock oozing with power and psycho-naut madness. Like, one of our fave bands for sure.

Aarni/Umbra Nihil: Split: CD $16: Christ almighty it’s getting grim over here! This split CD showcases both bands ability to make everyone wallow in doom metal depression. Aarni is perhaps a bit experimental, strange and definitely slower than hell droning doom with the most bizarre vocals. Umbra Nihil is equally doomed out with a bit more atmospherics thrown in the mix. Very strong release and highly recommended for funeral doom fanatics and the doomer that craves something a bit different once in a while.

Abandon All Hope: Fanzine UK: $6:
Pure doom metal fanzine out of Ireland that features interviews with Cold Mourning, Revelation, Pantheist, Thunderstorm, Shepard, Geoff O’Keefe (70’s Pentagramer!!), Unearthly Trance, Gates of Slumber and more!!! Tons of info and reviews done up in a totally killer old school zine style in this thick and huge ready!! We need more doom zines like this.

Abdullah - S/T CD $13
Finally a full length release from one of America's most promising doom metal outfit. Songs from the Snake Lore demo redone with a bunch of new material and well over an hours length. Great songs, melody and real doom metal power! Nice.

Abdullah: Graveyard Poetry: CD $14: The promise of this band comes through! Debut was a fine piece of work but this displays the bands maturity as songwriters and really delivers. Still plenty of doomed out vibes but with more variety and substance to the songs. Great sound, great vocals, great hooks, great guitars - just overall quality shit.

Abstract Algebra - S/T CD $19
The master of doom, Leif Edling, has put together this outfit that brings doom into the 90's and beyond. The songs still retain that Candlemass feel but with much more variety in the overall style. "April Clouds"' has to be one of the slowest and doomiest songs of all time!!

Acid King - Busse Woods CD $13

Oh my gawd! Rivaling Electric Wizard's Come My Fanatics for heaviest album ever this is some serious shit! The sound is raw and soooo heavy! Great songs and hooks and melody - something that's hard to do when it's this heavy! An absolute must for everyone who reads this catalog.

Acid King - Zoroaster CD $14
Sick, Distorted, maniacal sludge out of good ol' San Francisco. Guitars in the Electric Wizard/Vitus range and a complete blanket of grotesque hell atmosphere. Unglued and it shows. Luv it.

Acid King/Altamont - split CD $13
Ferocious and pummeling sludge core from both bands! Acid King is about as heavy as it gets (almost up there with the Wizard) and Altamont pulverizes as well as adding a little bit of odd experimentation to the mix.

Acrimony/Church of Misery: Split: CD $13
Finally available! The Acrimony trax are the last things they ever recorded circa ’99. One of the first of the “stoner” heavy sound and one of the best, these tracks are raw, rocking and blower to the ears. Church trax are unreleased from a never released 7” and the first demo. No surprises here just brutal guitar driven serial killer murder doom! Nice job from the persistent Game Two camp.

Ammit: Mass Suicide/Steel Inferno: CD $16:
Total crushing chainsaw black death metal praising Satan all the way. Brilliant stuff from South America. This is their 1st and 2nd album together on one disc. Some lyrics printed in booklet with info as well. Ultra grim and killer this will please fans of such sludge/hell kults as Inquisition, early Sodom, early Bathory, Venom (of course), Hellhammer, Warhammer, Destruction and similar satanic underground black death squadrons.

Antonius Rex: Praeternatural: CD $17:
Extremely dark and haunting doom progressive rock from Italy. Originally released in tiny quantities in 1980 and now a re-issue from our gloomy pals at Black Widow! Hard to describe, it’s not metal but anyone into the more esoteric forms of doom metal (Northwinds, Black Hole, Paul Chain) will certainly find reason to get morbid with this one. Dark and dreary and at times heavy guitars. Recommended to the ones that want to branch out into deeper territory.

Apokalyptic Raids: Return of the Satanic Rites: CD $15:
Arghhh!  If you worship at the throne of all that is Hellhammer and wish they'd have recorded more then look no furthur.  This is pure old school Hellhammer worship done proper.  Killing mid tempoed head crushers that truly sound like outtakes from the Apocalyptic Raids e.p.  Thing is these guys write good songs and sound great, and makes for some enjoyable listening both as nostalgia and on it's own merit.

Archie Bunker - Lucky 13 CD $13
A complete balls to the prison wall assault of downtuned guitars, massive song writing talent, aggression and an overall ass kicking sound. Not doom metal but without a doubt one of the best new bands on the scene today. Extremely heavy but never losing sight of great vocals and soul catching melodies. Destined to become huge!
Click here to see the Archie Bunker Brainticket Band Bio page.

Areknames: S/T: CD $17 LP $20:
Dark trippy doomed out metal/rock that is just beyond excellent! In places it has a definite doom metal feel (almost Witchfinder General-ish in guitar tone) and at times it’s very progressive. Great songs, intelligent lyrics, heavy doom guitars, spaced out effects and effective vocals make this trip enjoyable all the way through. Different, refreshing yet still dark and heavy as hell.

Armored Saint - Revelation CD $15
One of the 80's finest bands comes back to us with a powerhouse album chock full of mighty metal and the inspired vocals of Mr. John Bush.

Arch, John: A Twist of Fate: CDEP $8:
Yep, it’s the all time great ex vocalist of Fates Warning finally giving us more of his commanding vocal histronics to our earballs. Jim Matheos is on board to lend a hand in the music dept and it’s what you’d expect - classy progressive metal with plenty of mean complex riffing battling it out with Arch’s unorthodox and unique vocals. Pretty much a must have for the old and new Fates Warning fans alike. I’ve certainly played it more than 11 times! Mega excellent heavy.

Ashen Mortality: Your Caress: CD $17: Back in stock!! Nice and tightly played doom/death from the UK. Good songs, strong production and will appeal to fans of early Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride etc…

Ashes to Ashes: Shapes of Spirits: CD $13:
Very nice! Independently produced (but not a CD-R) and very much high quality atmospheric gothic doom. Somewhat in the vein of say, the Gathering but with clean goth rock (Peter Murphy, Pete Steele, etc..) vocals. Some progressive moments lend bizarre twist the to atmosphere Progressive doomy gothic infused metal. Debut album. Old school metal guitars mixed in with keyboards used for grandiose soundscapes, clean vocals, epic songs, fast songs, slow ones, exotic use of the sitar in the gothic rock/doom of "Sacrilege". Should appeal to fans of bands like Warlord, Lordian Guard, Gathering, mid period Queensryche (for it's dreary ballads that both share) etc...

Ave Sathanas: Relegion of Pity: CD $12:
Extremely raw and chaotic black metal with Fug and Frediablo. Very harsh to the ears, you wonder who really digs this stuff? I suppose some of us over here do!

Azaghal: KYY: CD $10:
Relentlessly fast black metal with a raw sound and some keys mixed in for atmosphere. Self described “Black Terror Metal” and an apt description if there ever was one. E.P. release (20 minutes in length).

Bazzah: Kingdom of Dead: CD $16:
Absolutely horrifying sounding black metal noise! Scathing your ears like boiling water covering your body and showing no mercy. Fast as hell with strange production work and overall evil atmosphere make this one to clear a room out with! Brilliant satanic artwork from Ereshkigal. For lovers of bizarre and noisy black metal ie: Countess, Marduk, Arkhon Infaustus etc…

Beaver - Lodge CD $10
Rockin' and stonin' slab of digital delerium! One of the longer running stoner bands and it shows - killer shit!

Begotten - S/T CD $13
Somewhere between Electric Wizard and the Melvins with a morbid Nick Cave styled vocal delivery this is some seriously heavy shit boys and girls.

Behemoth: Zoskia Cultus: CD $14
Most recent album from Poland’s death/black metal kings. Ferocious, sick, twisted and evil. Similar to Morbid Angel but a bit more raw. One of the best of it’s kind!

Behemoth: Thelema 6: CD $14
Dark and sinister technical death metal done proper. It doesn’t get much more brutal than this.

Behemoth: Satanica: CD $14
Judging from the title you’ll get an idea where this band is coming from (and headed!). As good and sometimes, better than any of the top level death/black metal hordes. Unbelievable speed and precision.

Black, The: Pecatis Nostris/Capistrani Pugnator: CD $17:
Italian dark occult doom metal that has been going on for some time now. Very much influenced by old Black Sabbath and caked in dark sinister atmospheres. Two new albums on one CD with thick high quality booklet! Anyone into the sounds of Paul Chain, Death SS, Black Hole, Steve Sylvester, Northwinds will eat this one up. One of the bands doomiest and best discs we’ve heard.

Black Sabbath/Rondellus: Sabbatum CD: $14
You’ve heard all the other “tribute” albums to the gods of heavy, but trust us this one is the most unexpected and mind blowing of them all! Sung entirely in Latin and played exclusively with medieval instruments and done up in a medieval/renaissance mode this is certainly a fun one to listen to. Recommended to even those that normally can’t stand tribute albums.

Blasphemy: Live Ritual Friday the 13th: CD $16:
Cult black metal legions official live recording/release. Also includes a “Die Hard” rehearsal from 2001! Extensive liner notes include the definitive biography and discography of the bands. Photos and lyrics – great package and extremely harsh/barbaric sounds!!

Blood Ritual: At the Mountains of Madness: CD $13:
Brutal blackened death metal that sits comfortably alongside bands like Immolation, Deicide and similar brutal death acts with wholly satanic lyrics. Very well done for those whose tastes demand severe heaviness and brutality. Awesome booklet with bizarre layout. Ugghhh.

Blues Creation: Demon & Eleven Children: CD $18: Early 70’s Japanese hard and heavy rockers. Includes the all time classic stoner/heavy rock sludge track “Atomic Bombs Away”. Tons of lead guitar mayhem throughout.

Bolt Thrower - Mercenary CD $15
Gargantuan doom/pulverized new release from this long running gang of crazies. Make no mistake about it, these guys have the brutal heavy sound down pat adn should appeal to anyone looking for a little brutality mixed with their doom. Choice quality shit here.

Bongzilla: Gateway: CD $13:
The weedburners are at it again! Easily their best and heaviest sounding work courtesy of a complete blower ass heavy production. Imagine crossing Sabbath’s Master of Reality with Vol. 4 then add hefty amounts of steroids and you have this record! Intense, heavy and complete. Screaming vox, but they don’t get in the way as there’s not much of them. Great shit.

Bongzilla - Stash CD $13
Over the top sludge from the masters of the bong. Painfully slow and heavy to the extreme. Cement grinder vocals, psychedelic sludge and slug bass zounds.

Boris - Absolutego CD $13
Special low frequency version that will kill you when you listen to it - great! For fans of Sleep, Earth, Mevlins etc... comes this Japanese destructo machine. Heavy enough to move 3 moutains at once.

Boris: Amplifier Worship: CD $13:
More drone destruction from Japans’ sick sludge merchants. Low end rumbling to jump start your bowels for that morning business session.

Borknagar - Quintessence CD $13
Another envelope pushing black metal band that really just sounds like pure heavy fucking metal and perfect to kill shithead losers by! Voted one of the best new all round metal releases for 2000 by Metal Maniacs.

Boulder Damn - Mourning CD $13
For those into 70's hard rock and monster madness. Last track, "Dead
Meat" is worth the price of admission alone with its 15 min plus drugged
out Sabbath sound!

Brant Bjork & The Operators: S/T CD: $13
Ex Kyuss/Fu Manchu drummer pushes out this disc but don’t expect typical stoner rock here. Proudly wearing his influences (70’s pop, funk, desert rock) and rolling them into one fat joint of a sound. Not really metal or even heavy but certainly a nice change of pace and enjoyable to listen to.

Buried at Sea: Migration: CD $11: Think early Vitus, Earth, Sunn, Electric Wizard, early Melvins and you’re almost there! A feast of bludgeoning, bulldozin’ monster lava DOOM! Very heavy and very fucked up.

Candlemass/Edling, Leif: The Black Heart Of Candlemass DBLCD: $19.00:
A double-CD collection spanning Doomaster General Leif Edling's years in Nemesis, Candlemass and Abstrakt Algebra, features demos, rarities, outtakes and previously unreleased tracks dating between 1983 and 1999. Bow down to the master and thanks to Jeff? in advance for letting me steal his lovely description!

Candlemass - Epicus Doomicus Metallicus CD $15
The best doom metal album of all time! We've finally managed to get some copies of this godsend, originally released in 1986 and still the greatest after all these years. Words alone cannot describe nor do this album justice, so just take our word for it. Total doom, total heavy, total god.

Candlemass: Nightfall (reissue): 2CD $19
Digitally Remastered w/ bonus disc featuring previously unreleased demos, outtakes and live, plus recent interview with Leif Edling and Messiah Marcolin and multimediatrack of first ever video 'Bewitched'!

Digitally Remastered w/ bonus disc featuring previously unreleased demos, outtakes plus recent interview with Leif Edling and Messiah Marcolin and multimediatrack of "Dark Reflections"!

Candlemass - Chapter IV CD $19
First album w/out Messiah and sees the band go more in a classic metal/Martin era Sabbath direction. Plenty of greatness here and containing one of the top 10 Candlemass songs in "Where the Ruins Still Sleep".

Candlemass - Dactylus Glomerata CD $19
Some slagged this one and frankly we can't understand why as this album is high quality doom tinged metal all the way. Songs have all different textures and dimensions making it a very loveable listening experience (if you're the kind of masochist that enjoys darkness and doom - hey, that's us!)

Candlemass - From the 13th Sun CD $19
The latest and probably the most doomy of all the Candlemass albums (and that's saying a lot!). This is raw, evil doom metal that evokes the spirit of the first Sabbath album in style and delivery. Master Leif is still the King. All Hail.

Cathedral: Serpents Gold: 2CD $17:
Most welcome 2 disc set that with thick booklet and interviews/photos! Disc 2 is where it’s at with gems of unreleased, live and alternate material. It’s worth the disc price alone! Disc one is a “best of” with re-mastered and improved sound. Very nice.

Cathedral: Endtyme: CD $14
Ok - if you don't have this then get it now! Quite possibly their best album yet and certainly much heavier than anything they've done in recent times. This is doom metal worship with some one of the best doom/riff masters around (hello Gaz!) on guitar. An essential record if you are into the heavy.

Cathedral - In Memorium CD $14
At last, a welcome re-issue of the bands earliest recordings and of the slowest mournful doom to ever come out! Lee sounds like a tortured man and the songs are sloooooowww! Also includes several live tracks from 1990 so it's all early total doom. A must.

Cathedral: Forest of Equilibrium: CD $14:
The one that set new standards for heavy doom metal. One of the most overtly morose collection of songs you will find anywhere on this planet. Megawatt snail paced drudgery with brick thick guitars dripping all over. This is doom metal. This is great. This is yours for $14. I already bought mine.

Cathedral: Ethereal Mirror: CD $14:
Second full length sees the band going in a more groove/Sabbath rock direction but still retains the ultra heavy sound.

Cathedral: Soul Sacrifice/Static Magic: CD $14:
Sheer doom metal brilliance and some of Cathedrals best songs are to be found on both of these monsters. Previously released as separate e.p.’s now together as one. Utterly essential for tracks like “Voyage of the Homeless Sapiens”, “Frozen Rapture”, “Autumn Twilight”

Cathedral: Carnival Bizzarre: CD $14:
A freaking great album with some truly inspired moments (“Night of the Seagulls”!!!). Gaz’ is proving that he is one of the top heavy rock guitarists around with some of the best solos’s and riffs since Mr. Iommi’s heyday and Iommi lends a killing lead on the song “Utopian Blaster”!

Cathedral: Supernatural Birth Machine: CD $14:
Maybe their least essential release, but still a worthy addition to any doom mongers collection.

Cathedral: Caravan Beyond Redemption: CD $14:
One of our faves from the boys! A really powerhouse production on this one, bringing Sir Gaz’ guitar to forefront and making it more punishing than ever. Great songs on this one and a perfect mixture of slow doom and heavy heavy heavy groove riffing.

Cathedral: Endtyme: CD $14:
The return to doom!! The boys admitted that they were out to prove that they could still be doomier than ever and this is a testament to that ideal! Still mixing in the Sabbath groove but overall this album has more in common with their debut but with a better production. Godly heavy. Fookin’ a rite.

Cathedral: VII Coming: CD $14:
The newest installment from Englands best export. The riffs keep coming and we keep loving it. A little less doomy than Endtyme but goddamn that don’t mean sheeeiitt as this still blows out the lead weight power. You need every Cathedral album including this one.

Cathedral: Our God has Landed VHS $16 DVD $20 :
Very cool video/dvd that contains live footage and some of the early official videos from the band including the all time doom anthem “Ebony Tears”.

Cauldron - For the Love of Pain CD $14
From the swamplands of Louisiana comes forth this slug bug of doom/power/thrash metal. New band of Varnum Ponneville (ex Gammacide vocals - remember the thrash 80's?) and it's hell pounding all the way with equal parts thrash, doom and power (didn't I just say that? - running out of ideas?!).

Celestial Season: Forever Scarlet Passion CD: $13
Before they went stoner rock these guys were churning out some of the finest bleak death/doom around! This first album begins the journey of pain and misery. Violins, keys, female vox, death vox and total doom metal riffing.

Celestial Season - Solar Lovers CD $12
Probably the best doom/death album every made! Incorporates violins, female voices, death/clean vocals and one of the fattest guitar tones known to man! A real classic of it's kind and becoming harder to find so grab it while you can.

Cephalic Carnage: Lucid Interval: CD $13:
Why oh why are we stocking this insanity? I don’t know. Probably because this shit sounds absolutely nuts when you’re stoned out of your mind. And actually it’s extremely well executed and fun to listen to for the most part. Death/Grind/Jazz/Progressive brutality. Very, very extreme metal if you wanna test your limits.

Cephalic Carnage: Exploiting Dysfunction: CD: $13:
See above – it’s more of the same. And some of us actually dig this stuff!

Chain, Paul: Unreleased Vol. 2: CD $16:
Finally out! This is more of Chain’s doomy metal oriented releases although a bit of the heavy spacey vibe is present on more than a few songs here. Most importantly this contains two works of doom rock brilliance with Wino on vocals! Both of these tracks are worth the price alone but the other tracks are honestly just as good!! You need this if you’re into obscure sounding doom metal!!

Chain, Paul - Sign From Space CD $18
One of the darkest figures in heavy music history graces us with some new recordings. It's more or less dark heavy rock with a touch of psychedelic space rock thrown in. Imagine a darker version of Hawkwind on this killer release.

Chain, Paul: Park of Reason: CD $17:
Finally a new doom metal release from Italy’s #1 weirdo! Remember how great Alkahest was? Well this is certainly in the same territory as that album. Paul knows real heaviness and doom and this disc proves it. Now where’s that Wino/Chain album?

Chain, Paul: Unreleased Vol. 1: CD $16:
More madness from one of the most heralded underground heavies around! Showcasing Paul’s multi faceted approach to heavy music this disc covers a lot of ground and be sure that plenty of it is doomy Sabbath inspired riff metal. Also some more of the “jamming” that he’s become known for, some haunting acoustic bits, 70’s hard and heavy rock, dark trippy passages and again the heavy guitars.

Church of Misery - Master of Brutality CD $13
Everyone's favorite serial killer doom metallers are back and more drastic than ever! New vocalist adds a punishing finish to this bands special brand of cut throat gloom doom. Evil, raw and brutal to the core.

Cianide - A Descent Into Hell CD$10
Bulldozing and behemoth-like guitars on this overlooked slab of bludgeoning doom/death metal. Very similar to the heaviest parts of Celtic Frost. Can't understand why this didn't get more attention as it's grade A stuff.

Cianide - The Dying Truth CD $10
Debut effort from Chicago's best doom/death band. Deadly guitar riffs not unlike early Celtic Frost. Bulldozing music all the way.

Conqueror Worm: Sometimes Dead is Better: CD $10:
Deadly death metal with the emphasis on Obituary styled doom riffs. Over 60 minutes of hellish death/doom with the odd bit of strange ideas (Necrotic Time) mixed in to mess your head up.

Countess: Heilig Vuur: CD $15:
Is there none sicker than the mighty Orlok? I think not. Again with this new album Countess spews forth some of the most razor sharp, cranium cutting darkness to ever be heard. Orloks vocals are more distorted and grotesque than ever and the riffs are true evil darkness. One of the most overlooked bands in the black metal scene and certainly one of the most unique and original as well. Features additional bonus live material that simply crushes. Get this limited edition before they’re all gone and the prices go crazy. For lovers of old Darkthrone, old Immortal, Pest, Leviathan and the like.

Dark Fortress: Tales From Eternal Dusk: CD $12:
German death/black metal squadron. Epic in delivery and production. Lots going on here with good use of keys for grandiose and doomed atmosphere.

Dark Throne: Hate Them: CD $16
Heh, heh, we’re carrying Dark Throne. Grim. Evil, Hellish, Mid paced black metal. We like. You like? Hmmmm…

Darklands - Chronicles CD EP $13

sorrow with!

Demon: Spaced Out Monkey: CD $17: Recent album from reformed band. Much more metal than anything they’ve ever done. Classy and sometimes commercial sounding but with nice crunch metal guitars.

Disengaged: The Ocean: CD $12:
Angry pounding brutal core with all manner of effects and noises running through the mix to keep your head guessing. Almost like a mix of Black metal (guitar sound at times) and aggressive hardcore with a healthy dose of death/thrash. Out of control vocals!

Dissolving of Prodigy: s/t: CD$16 - Obscure Czech doom death metal!! Holy hell - we’ve never heard of this bunch before but it’s time we (and you!) did! Really well done doom death metal with haunting atmospheres and gloomy songwriting. Lyrics are in Czech but don’t let that deter you as it’s mostly growling death/hell vox (mixed in with some clean gothic like tones at times). Booklet includes lyrics in English and Czech. Definitely strange and different - this band follows very few rules and makes their own sound. Fans of mental doom like Anathema, My Dying Bride, early Paradise Lost will relate favorably to this. Well done.

Dixie Witch: One Bird Two Stones: CD $14
Finally a new album from Texas hard rockers! Debut album on Brainticket took the underground by storm and this sophomore effort showcases the bands diversity while still retaining the power they’ve become known for. Hidden deep in South America we find the likes of Dragonauta. If you heard the split from a few years ago – forget it and check this baby out. Adventurous forays into doom heavy sound with much improved vocal delivery, some jazzed out elements, ethnic feel splashed in and wrapped around a much heavier sound than their debut. Quality shit here mate – and especially for those that like to taste a bit of variety in their heavy/stoner/doom pot stew!

After two successful albums “Utopian Illusions” and “The Human Experiment”, we are hit with the 3rd full length album from this experimental black metal band. Hailing from Norway, you know you can expect top quality musicianship and skilled song writing. The band mix cold aggressive black metal with progressive astral passages resulting in a unique sound without straying too far from their black metal roots. Like fellow countrymen Satyricon, these guys can mix pure hatred with atmosphere, leaving you gasping for more.

Emperor - Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk CD $13
Despite some asinine acts of madness from the band, this is actually an
awesome piece of black metal art. If you hate black metal, this won't
change your mind, but if you are curious or into the odd bit of pure black
hate, this is a standout piece of work and a good way to start your black
metal collection.

Engine - S/T CD $14
Fates Warning vocal king Ray Alder's side project. Damn fine up to date, class heavy metal tunes with giant production and intelligent songwriting. Great album that you should hear.

Eternal Elysium: Share: CD $14
Once again our favorite doom freaks from Japan have produced some of the most unique songs in the genre of heavy doom metal. Mixing all sorts of elements and not afraid to take some chances this album delivers a fresh and highly enjoyable listening experience. Maximum heavy doom, mammoth riffage, songwriting supreme - sheeeiiitt brother, what you waiting for?!

Eternal Elysium - Spiritualized in D CD $13
Fantastic doom heavy music from the far east! One of the best new doom bands around and finally we get a debut record from them. Unique songwriting sets them apart from the hordes of other bands. This is a must for all who crave the heavy!

Eye Hate God - Confederacy of Ruined Lives CD $13
They're back together to make you hate life again. Pain core to the limits. Vomit doom at it's most delicious.

Eye Hate God - Southern Discomfort CD $13
A collection of hard to find rare early singles, studio outtakes and alternate versions from this seminal doom/crust kill squad.

Eye Hate God - Take as needed for Pain CD $13
Absolute pain and misery are abound on this trip through hell! Super
heavy guitar (early Sabbath, Vitus etc.) with tortured vocals to drive you
insane and pessimistic! Massive!

Eye Hate God - In the Name of Suffering CD $13
Pure misery from one of the founders of the drugged out hate/sludgecore movement. Ugly and horrifying. Heavy as it gets.

Farflung: 9 Pin Body: CD: $13
Now on Brainticket Records, this is the band that is re-defining heavy space rock for tomorrow! The previous album (Belief Module) was a best seller for us and this is even better. Over the top heavy spaced out guitars, loud and powerful trips mixed with pure cosmic bliss float zones. Plenty of diversity, right on songs, just overall a killer if you’re into something different. We can’t recommend this band enough!

Fates Warning - The Specter Within CD $14
One of metals most respected bands and this is their second album with some fine song writing and great vocals reminiscent of the great Bruce Dickinson. A fantastic album that leads to sheer brilliance on their next one…

Fates Warning - Awaken the Guardian CD $14
" THE BEST METAL ALBUM OF ALL TIME!", declares John Perez! He's probably right as this is perfection in metal song writing and sound. Very heavy and doomy but not in a slow way. It's much more epic and
progressive and John Arch's vocals are completely unique, shedding his Dickinson influence somewhat on this one. Metallic art in the truest sense of the word.

Fates Warning - No Exit CD $14
The first to feature new vocalist, Ray Alder and it's no let down! One side is a collection of classic Fates, done up in a more aggressive yet no less heavy method and the other side is one long epic song that never lets up in the way of ear catching melodies and riffs. Very daring for a metal band to do something like this, but they make it work and I'm freaking glad they did as I still enjoy listening to this after all these years! (Came out in '88!)

Faustcoven: The Halo of Burning Wings: CD $14:
Grim, cold and doomy may be the cliché ridden words to use to describe certain music but in this case it is most apt and fitting. Slow crawling icy guitars doom through the hellish vocals and deadened riffing sure to destroy any self respecting satanic metaller. Mostly slower paced grim hymns. For our ears some of the best doom/black metal we’ve heard in a while. Freezing.

Fireball Ministry: FMEP: CD $14
We stocked these guys in some of our old catalogs and this here thing (that’s Texan talk ya’ll) is thar newest and makes us believe that this band should be heard by all. One of the most unique sounding of the fuzz/heavy rock bands this contains three new originals and several covers (including an amazing rendition of Judas Priest’s “Victim of Changes”). Hard to describe but kinda like Soundgarden jamming some Sabbath songs. Very cool.

Forest of Impaled: Demonvoid: CD $10:
Not so holy blackened death metal. Technically executed with slicing precision and speedy workouts worthy of the dark one’s approval! Seriously blistering stuff on this extended play (30 min.) disc.

Forever Is Forgotten: Dying Beautiful CDEP: $8
Four song EP of “all in one” styled metal. Heavy, grooves, technical playing and extremely angry vocals. Different and promising debut.

Forsaken: Anima Mundi: CD $14:
The veterans of doom metal return! After 13 years and numerous releases, these guys have produced by far their best album yet. Already regarded as co-fathers of the doom metal scene worldwide. this album will give them the throne all to themselves. Powerful, majestic, epic and
extremely heavy! Mixing crunchy, stompin’ riffs with eerie keyboards and superb clean vocals and rounded off with a top notch production. It
doesn’t get much better than this!”

Forsaken: Iconoclast CDEP: $8
This bands debut was one of our best sellers ever and now we’re graced with (finally!) some new pure DOOM METAL from our favorite doom band from Malta! Christ almighty why aren’t these guys more well known? This is pure class doom along the lines of While Heaven Wept, later period Sabbath, Trouble and Candlemass all wrapped up in a nice package. Great band, great release to tide us over for the full length. Get this now and be the hippest kid on the block.

Fu Manchu: In Search of CD: $15
Pretty much the one that put heavy/stoner rock on the map. Think Black Sabbath’s “Master of Reality” then add a dash of Blue Cheer and vintage Blue Oyster Cult with an attitude. Possibly their best album.

Funeral: In Fields of Pestilent Greif: CD $16: Impressive atmospheric doom/death from the cold Forests of Norway. Attention early Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Anathema fans. Morose yet melodic and filled with huge songs.

Funeral Orchestra, The: Feeding the Abyss: CD $16:
Mega doom metal as bleak as a week long eclipse of the sun! Slow, plodding drudgery is what you will find in this kingdom. Crawling at a snails pace this brings to mind such delightful troops such as Esoteric, Electric Wizard, Warhorse, Winter and Thergothon. Really outstanding stuff and best described by the band themselves; Apocalyptic Trance Doom!

Gallery of Mites: Bug on the Bluefish: CD $14
A stoner rock fans wet dream! All star cast on this one including appearances from John Garcia (Kyuss), Tommy Southard (Solace), Ed Mundell (Monster Magnet) and many others, this album is heavy but packs a punked out edge like early Stooges and (surprise!) early Monster Magnet. Raw and rocked out in maximum fashion.

Gas Giant: Mana: CD $16
Oh yeah, pure out of control heavy as shit rockin’! The stoner tag just doesn’t seem to do some bands justice and this is one of them. So much more to it – Sabbathy sludge guitars, some quiet/mellow songs, searing lead guitar, groove upon groove riffs galore and and even handed production that brings out the power of this great band. This is the future of heavy music here and now. Very recommended.

Gates of Slumber: The Awakening: CD $16:
Highly enjoyable old school doom metal! Some of the songs here are absolute monsters (The Judge – all time Witchfinder riffing!) and there is a certain rawness to the overall sound that gives it a more underground and dirty appeal. I hear Witchfinder General, old Pentagram, Vitus and even some NWOBHM. Strong stuff here to satisfy your doom metal appetite.

Gathering, The - Superheat CD $13
Live album from cult underground band that features soaring, soothing female vocals.

Gathering, The - Nighttime Birds CD $13
Brilliant new effort of highly emotional and beautiful epic/sorrow metal
music. Female vocals that soar over the majesty of the epic song
structures. Band is getting rave reviews all over and it's easy to see why.

Gathering, The - Mandylion CD $13
Beautiful female vocals backed up by doomy and bombastic metal.
Excellent ideas and a strong sense of melody throughout. A standout
release for sure.

Gathering, The - How to Measure a Planet CD $14
Two CD set for the price of one! Female vocals, dreamy songs, heavy sections all meshed together in one long session.

Glow: Living on Borrowed Time: CDR $8:
Spains doom/groove hopefuls deliver their self released debut. Full color printed cover and some very heavy grooves going on with the early Trouble sounding “Feel You” being one of the highlights. No wonder then, since this is ex member of Spanish doomers the Tempter! Good stuff here.

Goatsnake: Trampled Under Hoof CDEP $11:
Goatsnake: Trampled Under Foot: CD $10 LP $11:

Mud thick doom from the band that brought us one of the all time doomers ever (with the Flower of Disease album). Three new songs that crush all life and two cover tunes (Vitus’ “Burial at Sea”, Black Oak’s Hot Rod). If you like quality heavy doom metal with riffs that won’t quit well then….!

Goatsnake/Burning Witch: Split CD $15:
Long out of print we have a few copies available of this sludge doom trek through misery and gloom! You know the deal I think.

Goliath: The Gate: CD $13
New band on the Music Cartel and quite good heavy rock/metal with a doomy edge throughout. Good songs and powerful sound. Nicely done.

Gorilla: S/T: CD $14
Ridiculously heavy and raw sound and done right. I'm blasting this as I type and it's just godamm heavy as fuck. I love it and so do you. 70's influenced and worth it for one of the most mind busting heavy trax of all time in the form of "Coxsackie".

Grand Belials Key: Castrate the Redeemer: CD $14:
Hate inspired Black Metal from one the innovators of the genre. Crossing mid tempoed NWOBHM riffing with unholy blasphemous vocals and tight precise rhythms this is considered by many to be the bands best work. This is the reissue on Barbarian Wrath and includes the entire “Mocking the Philanthropist” (minus one track) plus bonus tracks from a 7” released in ’96 on Wood Nymph Records.

Grand Magus: S/T CD: $13
A severe kick in the ass this one is! Awesome vocals topped over awesome riffage. Man alive, this is a perfect combination of all that’s good about heavy. Plenty of metal, plenty of groove, plenty of hooks to trick the mainstream audience into buying into it. Not 100% original but who cares when it’s done this good?!

Grave - Into the Grave CD $13
Ouch!!! ULTRA brutal and completely over the top death metal from a few years back! The sound is totally in your face and pulverizing beyond
belief. One of the earliest Swedish death metal bands.

Gravedigger: Rheingold: CD $14: Clearly this band are the epitome of ass kicking, pure and true Heavy Metal. Hard to believe they’ve been around for over 20 years and only get better and better. This new album delivers on all fronts with extensive double bass assault, huge epic chorus’, blistering lead guitar and chugging rhythms wrapped up in first class songwriting and production. Pure metal that just doesn’t get any better than this

Gravedigger - Excalibur CD $19
The Best heavy metal CD of 99-2000 and the most spun album last year here at Brainticket HQ! simply devastating with perfect production - heavy as shit, clean and pure, and absolute A + songwriting. This blows away 99% of everything out there as far as "real" metal goes.

Gravedigger - Knights of the Cross CD $19
Another ultra classic metal release with conceptual plot, great sound, and hard hitting songs. Almost as good as Excalibur and easily better than most of the metal out today.

Gravedigger - Tunes of War CD $19
Scottish themes melting with war metal power and the usual level of high quality fist pounding hell from Germany's best export!

Gravewurm: Ancient Storms of Hell: CD $14:
Relentlessly old school doom/death/black metal that wears its influences proudly (Hellhammer, Sodom, Slaughter, Iron Angel). How sound it? Heavy chainsaw guitars, rotten guttural vocals, mid tempo bulldozer songs and overall evil atmosphere. Doomy Black Metal sludge. Excellent hell metal all round.

Gravewurm: Dark Souls of Hell: CD $14:
More tortured blackened death doom from one of America’s ugliest sounding death squads. See above.

Grief: Turbulent Times: CD $13:
Super sludge kings collection of odds and ends (demos, singles, etc…) One of the forefathers of modern day sludge core, these guys were doing the tuned down tortured doom when not many dared to. If you’re into bands like Eye Hate God, Thee Plague of Gentlemen, Bongzilla, Weedeater then be sure to explore the roots of those bands through Grief.

Hades - SaviourSelf CD $15
Yep, it's the old power metal band from the 80's serving up a mightee fine collection of new tunes. Sabbath inspired riffage and excellent clean vocals from Mr. Techio. Hades were always miles above the rest in terms of songwriting quality combining thrash power with liberal heavy doom and this album furthur proves the point.

Half Man: Red Herring: CD $16:
Hard core heavy rock that sidesteps the stoner rock movement and goes for a more straight up 70’s influenced heavy rock sound albeit with an up to date production value. Blues based, laid back yet solid and rocking.

Hangnail - Ten Days Before Summer CD $14
New band from Rise Above Records! Groove rockin' and plenty of heavy to give it that necessary edge that we crave!

Hasselvander, Joe (Pentagram) - Road Kill LP $15
Very nicely done LP of various unreleased and demo songs with various musicians (including Victor Griffin of Pentagram as well). There's not really any doom on this but still an important part of the puzzle for all Pentagram completists.

Heads, The: Time is Now: CD $15
E
xactly one copy (sealed) of this undisputed jem of Godzilla riffing stoner/heavy/psych/metal rock. Long goners get it while you can... man.

Hidden Hand: Divine Propaganda: CD $14
Wino is back! Picking up the pieces after Spirit Caravan and taking his songwriting to higher levels! A bit more uptempo but that unmistakable Wino treated guitar sound and playing is intact more than ever. Class act all the way and this album continues in that fine tradition.

Ex Sleep guitarist bounces back with this wall of monster bonster! Overdriven and raw to the max! Very heavy and will not dissapoint fans of Sleep and ALL that is heavy!

High on Fire: Surrounded By Thieves CD: $13
Second album with a much heavier sound than the debut. We’re talking very loud guitars courtesy of ex-Sleep monster Matt Pike. A very thick wall of heavy to mash yer skull!

Holocaust: The Nightcomers: CD $14
Holy jeezus! All praise Sutec, I mean Metal Blade for re-releasing the molten metal classic! Early 80’s heavy metal with plenty of thick and meaty riffing supreme. Main main John Mortimer was once quoted as saying that he wants to create the heaviest riffs known to man! Comes with the rare Heavy Metal Mania 3 song EP as bonus trax. Freaking classic.

Iced Earth - Something Wicked... CD $13
Power metal sensation thats sweeping the nation! Traditional metal (Maiden, Priest...) for the now and one of the best bands at the game!

Il Segno Del Comando: S/T: CD $17:
Obscure sounding progressive heavy rock with doomy occult moves throughout. Highly enjoyable despite the somewhat off kilter vocals. Moving through equal parts heavy Sabbath influenced riff romps to spaced out Hawkwind styled excursion and then back through some strange progressive workouts. Challenging and inviting for the listener that demands more from his heavy rock.

Imagika: Worship: CD $7
This band is shit hot brother! Total old school bay area power that reminds us of the best moments from Forbidden (r.i.p.). Great sound and huge talent at an unbelievable low price! Try it.

Immortal: Sons of Northern Darkness CD: $14
Quite simply the best metal album of the last few years. This is what it’s all about. Forget what you’ve heard about their black metal past as this incorporates all styles that make up great timeless heavy metal. Yes the vocals are still in the black metal mold but I can’t think of anything else that fits the music so well. Mostly mid tempo pounding with a few faster parts thrown in. Combine that with heavy riffing, galloping metal, epic tales of cold continents, insane drumming and an overall delivery that tells you not to fuck with these guys. Goddamn brilliant.

Infernal Majesty - None Shall Defy CD $16
Finally re-released this album is a death metal classic that reminds one of Slayer at their best. Brutal and technical death riffing that still sounds as good today as it did when it was released back in '87! Explore the roots of true death metal!

Debut album of fine heavy doom with death metal styled vocals.

Insider: Land of Crystals: CD $18
Co produced by Paul Chain (even a Chain cover on this album) and a good album of thick doom riffing and some spaced out moments as well. Coming across like Paul Chains heavier works with mysterious and cultish themes to hypnotize.

Internal Void: Matricide: CD $14:
Always a welcome sound to our ears, here is one of the longest running heavy/doom rock bands around! As usual the playing and songwriting is superb, and the 70’s influences shine through more than ever. The trip on these doods is that they manage to retain a unique and original sound each time and this is no exception. Now current Pentagram and Penance members still rocking with the Void tho!

Internal Void - Unearthed CD $12
Finally after the longest wait in history we get their second album and it's one of the best heavy/doom releases in the past few years! Completely unique and original, this will appeal to old school doomers and lovers of the Obsessed type of sound. Massive.

Internal Void - Standing on the Sun CD $13
Very 70's influenced doom/hard rock from this east coast band. Their sound is a mixture of old Black Sabbath, Obsessed, and obscure 70's bands like Bang, Sir Lord Baltimore etc. Crunching heavy guitar that grooves and moves.

Jack Frost - Glow Dying Sun CD $18
Latest and greatest doom from the cheerful lads in Austria. Combining all of the elements from the first two and improving the formula. Adding a touch of darkwave undertones makes this a happening deal!

Jag Panzer: Decade of Nail Spiked Bat: CD $14: All of the old Panzer faves from Ample Destruction, the Tyrants e.p. and some odd and ends re-recorded. Still Panzer’s best material and it is quite awesome to see them take the old songs up a notch with today’s sound quality.

Jag Panzer - Thane to the Throne CD $13
Third album from the recently reformed classic line-up and what a record! Thinking man's metal that oozes power, class and epic sword weilding hymns of glory!

Josiah: S/T: CD $16:
A real treat for any 70’s heavy rock fanatic. Authentic old school heavy/hard rock busting out one giant riff after another. Yes, it’s heavy and yes it rocks and no it’s not stoner rock and no it’s not metal. Just plain ‘ol ass kicking heavy rock!

Judas Icariot: Heaven in Flames: CD $13:
Our favorite release from this one man black metal machine. Morbid and cold atmosphere pervade the senses with one hammer smashing chaos riff after another.

Judas Iscariot: Distant in the Solitary Night: CD $13:
Fourth album and one of our favorites from this one man holocaust! Grim and evil in the truest sense of the words and music to match! This release can’t be beat for the crushing black doom metal of “The Clear Moon, and the Glory of Darkness”! Black metal in the most extreme tradition throughout.

Judas Iscariot: The Cold Earth Slept Below: CD $13:
Debut CD reissued of extreme cold and nihilistic black metal. Ugly fast tempoed scrapers mixed with doom trodden dirges of hate and hell. Anti-Christian and death the world philosophy mixes perfect with the music.

Katatonia - Brave Murder Day CD $13
One of my personal faves (my name is William Shatner, what's yours champ?). This is GOTHIC METAL! Some of the most atmospheric and gloomy sounds I've heard but still wrapped up in real song writing. My hails to you Blackheim, brother of darkness!

Hardcore with screaming insane vocals. Anti Christian lyrics. Strange, heavy and manic.

Khanate: S/T: CD $13

Khanate: Things Viral: CD $13:
Newest batch of punishing sludge and abstract doom. ‘eavy.

Khang: Worship the Evil: CD $15: Obscure doom metal from the U.K. with former members of Serenity in tow. Close in sound to the godly Penance with an ultra mean low end guitar growl snappin’ atcha for the duration. Excellent vocals to top it off. Well done all round and I’m sure we’ll be hearing more from these chaps.

King Diamond: The Puppet Master: CD/LP $15:
You know King keeps pumping them out and we (I) keep buying them. Why? Because he consistently puts out good shit! Abigail II was awesome but we’re thinking that this is even better! The music is heavy, the lead guitar work is simply amazing, the story is wicked, dark and depressing as hell, production is outstanding, etc… It’s just killer stuff all the way through. You want top notch old school haunting and creative metal? Then get Puppet Master!

King Diamond: Abigail II CD: $15
The King is back and this time he's hit gold! While all of his recent works have been worthy this one truly captures the essence of the classic King Diamond sound circa 1987! This could have easily been the follow up the original Abigail album, in fact they sound great played back to back! Haunting, creepy and served up with meaty guitars courtesy of Mr. LaRouque and Mike Wead! King is the King. Get this.

King Diamond - House of God CD $15
Latest release from the ever productive madman himself. As usual it's packed with eerie songwriting, classy guitars, deep lyrics and an attention to detail that makes this and all of his albums a metal connoisseur's delight.

King Diamond - The Spiders Lullaby CD $15
More of the usual creepy horror metal from the King. Not one of his best works but still contains some prime psychotic moments and if you're like us you've just got to have it all!!

King Diamond - Voodoo CD $15
The best King Diamond album since Abigail!! Much heavier and lots of completely whacked out song ideas and structures. This gives me the same chill that I felt when I first heard the King solo material like Fatal Portrait and Abigail. Very recommended and much welcomed to hear return to the more "classic" sound.

King Diamond - The Graveyard CD $15
King can write some twisted and sick stories and believe this is one of the more insane ones I've heard from him. It gives me the creeps to listen to it! Real highlights musically speaking and an overall strong effort from the master of darkness.

Krisiun - Conquerors of Armegedon CD $13
Fans of Morbid Angel, Hate Eternal and the like will salivate over this one! Monster tight an pushing the boundries of brutal and fast.
